One Campus for Worship, Education, Healthcare and Community Support

Arabia Islamia Trust is working to establish a comprehensive Islamic and community complex in Lahore, Pakistan. The proposed development will bring together a masjid, madrassa, school, medical clinic, welfare services and a community skills hall within one accessible campus.

The vision is to create a place where families can pray, study, receive healthcare and access essential support without needing to travel between different institutions.

The complex will build upon the Trust’s existing educational and welfare programs, including Peace Lyceum School.

About the Proposed Complex

The complex is planned for a minimum five-kanal property in Lahore. The exact site is currently under review.

The proposed campus will include six principal departments:

• Masjid
• Madrassa
• School
• Medical clinic and pharmacy
• Welfare office
• Community and skills hall

These departments will be located around a shared central area, allowing families to conveniently access multiple services within one campus.

Our Vision

A Welcoming Community

The masjid and community facilities will welcome Muslims from different backgrounds and schools of thought. Everyone who enters the masjid will be treated as an honoured guest.

Islamic and Contemporary Education

Children will have the opportunity to pursue Hifz and Islamic studies alongside contemporary education within the same educational environment.

Service Without Discrimination

The proposed clinic will provide care to people in need without making religion, background or personal connections a condition of receiving support.

Transparency and Accountability

Major donors will receive a written report every six months explaining how their contributions have been used.

Peace Lyceum School

Peace Lyceum is an English-medium school operated by Arabia Islamia Trust in Green Town, Lahore.

The school currently provides education from Preschool through Grade 5 and forms an important part of the Trust’s commitment to making quality education accessible to children.

Peace Lyceum combines academic development with a positive, values-based educational environment. Through the proposed community complex, the Trust aims to expand its educational work and provide children with access to both contemporary schooling and Islamic education in one location.

Our Existing Educational Institutions

Arabia Islamia Trust is not beginning from the ground up. The Trust already operates and supports established educational institutions and welfare programs serving children, families and vulnerable members of the community.

Jamia Arabia Islamia – Lahore

Provides Hifz education and advanced Islamic studies.

Dar-ul-Uloom Mohmand

A Darul Uloom providing Islamic education within Pakistan’s Mohmand tribal district.

Peace Lyceum School – Green Town, Lahore

An English-medium school currently educating children from Preschool through Grade 5.

Arabia School – Lahore

A Hifz school that also provides mainstream academic subjects.

Jhuggi Education Project

Provides education to children living in informal settlements who may otherwise have no access to schooling. Some classes are currently conducted in open-ground environments.

Orphan Kafalat Program

Provides monthly financial support to help meet the essential living needs of orphaned children.

Our Welfare Programs

Arabia Islamia Trust’s ongoing welfare activities include:

• Educational sponsorship for disadvantaged children
• Schooling for children living in informal settlements
• Installation of water-filtration plants
• Distribution of Zakat and essential food supplies
• Orphan support
• Qard-e-Hasana interest-free financial assistance
• Direct relief for individuals and families experiencing hardship

Sponsor a Child’s Education

Approximately USD $18 per month can support one child through school.

Support a Jhuggi Student

Approximately USD $11 per month can help provide an education for a child who would otherwise have no access to school.

How the Complex Will Be Developed

The proposed project will be completed in three principal phases.

Phase One: Securing the Land

The land is expected to cost approximately USD $432,760.

An advance payment of approximately USD $144,250 is required to secure the property.

Approximately USD $36,060 has already been raised from donors. The immediate fundraising requirement is therefore:

Once the advance has been paid, approximately USD $288,510 will remain to complete the land purchase.

Construction will not begin until the land has been properly secured. Arabia Islamia Trust will not construct the project on rented or disputed property.

Phase Two: Masjid and Madrassa

The masjid and madrassa will form the first construction stage, allowing worship, Islamic education and community activity to begin on the site.

Estimated cost: approximately USD $602,260

This phase will deliver two of the six planned departments.

Phase Three: School, Clinic, Welfare and Community Facilities

The final major construction phase will include:

• School facilities
• Medical clinic and pharmacy
• Welfare office
• Community and skills hall

Estimated cost: approximately USD $1,200,910

This phase will deliver the remaining four planned departments.

Project Budget

• Land purchase: approximately USD $432,760
• Masjid and madrassa: approximately USD $602,260
• School, clinic, welfare office and community hall: approximately USD $1,200,910
• Total construction cost: approximately USD $1,803,170
• Total estimated project cost: approximately USD $2,235,930

These figures are estimates and may change as the property, architectural plans and construction specifications are finalised.

Immediate Fundraising Goal

The immediate objective is to raise approximately USD $108,190 to complete the advance payment required to secure the land.

This goal could be achieved through any combination of individual, family, business or organisational contributions.

Suggested contribution levels include:

• Three donors contributing approximately USD $36,060 each
• Six donors contributing approximately USD $18,030 each
• Twelve donors contributing approximately USD $9,015 each
• Thirty donors contributing approximately USD $3,605 each
